Craftsmanship and Building
The craftsmanship and building projects at Rooted Emergence will teach youth practical skills like carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical work, using natural resources and recycled materials to build structures. The projects aim to provide youth with the tools and knowledge they need to create their own structures, make repairs, and promote a sense of self-sufficiency.
At RE, our craftsmanship and building projects are all about empowering and educating youth through hands-on activities like natural building, carpentry, and earthship building. Young people will learn practical skills they can use to make a positive difference in their own lives and communities.
The goal is to teach youth how to build structures and living spaces using natural resources and recycled materials, and to think creatively about sustainable design solutions. They'll learn how to work with tools and materials, from plumbing and electrical work to carpentry and masonry.
The projects will be fun and engaging, encouraging young people to think outside the box and use their imaginations. By learning these skills, participants will be able to make meaningful contributions to their own communities and to the wider world.
