Rooted Emergence will procure and develop 20 acres of land for regenerative farming and ecology in Upstate New York.

After permitting, designing, and platting for our land in Upstate New York, we'll begin permaculture design workshops with youth at our Tehuti Ma'at Hub in Brooklyn.

Infrastructure and Building Systems
February-June 2024
Kicking off operations in Upstate New York, Rooted Emergence will build systems for reliable and sustainable permaculture infrastructure on the acreage area. We'll also be hosting and facilitating workshops at our Brooklyn Hub.

First Immersive Cohort: Rooted Emergence will take participants from our Brooklyn Hub to Upstate New York weekly to begin production and harvesting workshops starting in June of 2024. We'll build a minimum of 3 structures for commerce, including:

Produce Distribution
July-October 2024
Introducing locally-farmed Rooted Emergence produce! We'll distribute agricultural products from our Upstate farm at the Tehuti Ma'at community hub to our partner organization, Seeds in the Middle. As their exclusive supplier, we'll work with Seeds in the Middle to present nutrition and cooking demonstrations in inner-city schools.

We have big plans at Rooted Emergence, and we're looking forward to introducing our rich education curriculum on holistic wellness and movement to new locations worldwide.
